By using GoldRate.info you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What this site is

GoldRate.info publishes indicative wholesale spot prices for gold, aggregated from third-party market data sources and converted into other currencies using published exchange rates. It is an information service.

What this site is not

Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, a recommendation to buy or sell, an offer or solicitation to trade, or a dealing quote. We are not a broker, dealer, exchange or regulated financial institution. Prices shown are not prices at which you can transact.

Figures exclude value added tax, sales tax, import duty, refining and fabrication costs, making charges, delivery, insurance, storage and dealer margin. The price you are offered by any dealer will differ, usually substantially for small quantities.

Accuracy and availability

Gold trades over the counter rather than on a single central exchange, so there is no single official price at any moment and providers legitimately differ. We take reasonable care to display current data and we label prices explicitly when our sources are unreachable and a cached figure is being shown. We do not, however, warrant that the data is accurate, complete, current or uninterrupted, and we may change or withdraw any part of the site at any time.

Do not rely on this site for time-critical or high-value decisions. Verify independently before transacting.

Use of the price API

The JSON endpoint at /api/price is provided as a courtesy for modest, non-commercial use and is rate limited. You must not circumvent rate limits, resell the data, or build a service whose availability depends on this endpoint. We may change or remove it without notice. For dependable access, license data directly from a market data vendor.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• interfere with or disrupt the site, its infrastructure or its security measures;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system or data;
• scrape the site at a rate that degrades service for others;
• use the contact form to send unsolicited commercial messages;
• misrepresent the data as an official, executable or guaranteed price.

Intellectual property

The site design, original written content and source code are owned by us or our licensors. Underlying market data is owned by the respective data providers. You may quote short extracts with attribution and a link; systematic copying or republication is not permitted.

Third-party links

Where we link to external sites we do so for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss or damage — including trading losses, lost profits and consequential loss — arising from use of, or reliance on, this site or its data. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, where such limitation is not permitted.

Changes

We may revise these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed, and continued use constitutes acceptance.
